ATLAS MOUNTAIN RACE – MOROCCO
At 18.00 on Friday 3rd February, I will be setting off on another epic trip.
This one is much shorter at only 828 miles, but the difference is its a Race, un-supported, over some incredibly hostile off road terrain with a time limit of just 8 days 6 hours.
Wish me luck.

I decided that, although I am not doing this event ‘for’ Charity, it is always worth allowing an opportunity for others to benefit … so for this event, any donations will be going to Action Medical Research
This Race is going to be incredibly hard and although I call it a Race, I will be pleased if I can just get to the finish.
Ive never ‘kipped out’ before so sleeping in a Bivvy is going to completely new to me and I need to average 100 miles per day (off road and hilly and rough) just to get within the cut off time.
Im supported again by Veloskin to help try and keep my backside safe. Cheers for the support lads.
And all my equipment is tucked into the amazing TAILFIN Technical Bikepacking Equipment and I simply cannot thank them enough for their support.

Big thanks also to Resilient Nutrition for my emergency and keep me going nutrition as well as Quadlock for the great kit and phone cover which keeps my phone accessible and secure.
Always thanks to TRUESAPIEN who I love riding for.
This ride is simply going to be the hardest thing Ive ever done and I honestly really apprehensive
