CHARITY PARTNERS ANNOUNCED – USA 5000

As you know, on 1st Aug I will be setting off on an epic Cycling Challenge riding solo, off road & un-supported across the USA – over 5000 miles !

But what is the point of this mentally and physically gruelling, self -imposed ordeal if I don’t use if for the good of others?

I can now proudly announce my Charity Partners:  The Children’s Hospital Charity

and St James Church Buxworth (Chinley and Buxworth PCC)

All monies donated are split between The Childrens Hospital Charity & St James’ Church, with 90 % going to The Children’s Hospital Charity and 10% being donated to my Father’s long time beneficiary, and place of rest – St James’ Church, as both Charities have totally different financial needs and targets.

I believe that most people will wish to give me some encouragement, & this can be no better than when my phone ‘pings’ with another donation for Charity.

This journey is totally ‘self-funded’ & your support for the Charities will be my inspiration to push on those pedals !

The Children’s Hospital Charity helps to change lives at Sheffield Children’s every day by funding enhancements over & above the NHS provision.

To say I am confident about the ride & the challenge ahead of me would be pushing it, but I do know that with your support I can make it.

If you like what I am doing, the biggest thing you can do for me is to share this post, & maybe, just maybe we can smash my initial target out of the water & make this fundraising huge !!
